Mission Beach is one of the few unspoilt pieces of paradise still available on the Far North Queensland Coast, with a year-round climate of 18 - 32 Degrees C. A relaxed community with a laidback lifestyle and casual sophistication, Mission Beach sits perfectly between lush World Heritage rainforest and fourteen kilometres of pristine white beaches gently lapped by the tranquil, clear blue Coral Sea. Offshore (just minutes by fast water taxi), the resort islands of Dunk and Bedarra laze in the sun.
Galleries and studios, coffee shops and fine restaurants abound. There's also deep-sea fishing, reef cruises, white water rafting, windsurfing, and sailing, water skiing paraflying, snorkelling, sky diving on the beach. Bush walking, horse riding, golf, monthly markets and more.
Mission Beach is secluded, yet not remote, and just far enough away to maintain it's unique charm - an hour and a half easy driving from Cairns International Airport along National Highway 1. Great natural beauty, lush rainforests, superb beaches and many tropical islands just offshore plus easy access to The Great Barrier Reef means that Mission Beach really does have it all!
